The system is based on ArcGIS platform and allows to create models of water supply and wastewater disposal systems, import\export in data formats, runs process simulations and presents calculation results on ESRI map.
Version 1.0 was released after 1 year work with 1 project manager and 4 software developers.
- Development of graphic control based on GDI+ API and allows to show vertical section of selected part of construction on the map. The control shows vertical section, conventional signs, coordinate axes, provides object selecting and editing, precents modelling results in table and curves views. All control options can be edited in options editing dialog.
- Development of visual editors for curves, objects with using GDI+ API.
- Drawing in the ArcGIS maps.
- Implementation of import\export data, simulation running functionality.
Functions: Architecture design, development, testing.
Technologies: C#, GDI+.
Programming tools: MS VS 2005, ESRI ArcGIS 9.1.
Achievements:
- Developed an extension control for the ESRI ArcGIS system, which allows displaying custom customer data that could not be displayed using standard built-in system tools.
- Debugged the process of calculations using 3 external calculation modules of third-party manufacturers, automated loading of calculation results and displaying them on maps.
